Couple's Relaxing Retreat
We enjoyed our stay, although it wasn't cheap. Stylish accommodation in the heart of town. The outdoor kitchen was a fantastic touch, perfect for morning coffee while soaking in the quiet courtyard.
Just keep in mind not all rooms have AC, double beds can feel a bit cramped if you're tall.

The outdoor space was a lovely addition, making it
Ideal. The staff showed genuine hospitality, quickly addressing any concerns. The tranquility was refreshing, especially for a city location. Be mindful of room options as not all have AC, which might be uncomfortable for some.

The hotel had a beautiful and modern decoration. The staff was really friendly and attentive, and kept the place very clean. One of the best aspects was the rooftop patio, which had a great view of the surrounding area. the hotel's location was very convenient, with lots of restaurants and bars within walking distance and easy access to public transportation.
The hotel lacked some amenities that could have made the stay more comfortable. There was no 24-hour staff available for emergencies, and everything was handled through email.

The decoration and styling at Casa Ixaya By Barrio Mexico was beautiful. I loved the modern and well-styled rooms, as well as the common areas. The filter tap was a great addition, making it easy to refill our water bottles. The communal kitchen was a fantastic feature and allowed us to cook our own dinner one evening. The staff were helpful and the cleanliness of the place was excellent. it was a wonderful stay.
There were a few minor drawbacks. The shower wasn't very hot, but it wasn't a major issue for us.

Located in a great walking neighborhood with plenty of dining options nearby. There are also bike stations around if you want to explore further. The communal kitchen is spacious, clean and well-equipped. Some rooms have an air conditioner which comes in handy during the hotter times of the year.
While it is affordable, the lack of 24-hour staff on duty could potentially be problematic in the case of an emergency.

During our xmas stay, we enjoyed the convenient location close to several restaurants and cafes to visit. the room had a beautiful view of the plants and patio, making our stay feel more relaxing. We also appreciated the extra security measures taken to access the property.
One downside to our experience was the noise from the upper bedrooms early in the morning, which disrupted our sleep. the bathroom also needed maintenance, with a broken towel rack and poor sink drainage.
